Mum-me-time: a personal development class for mothers

Mum-me-time accompanies you on your personal journey of adjusting to motherhood and finding a life balance that leaves you content and guilt free.

Are you in need of some me-time?

Would you like to reflect on your life?

Find a life balance that works for you?

If you answered YES to one or more of the questions above then mum-me-time can offer a welcoming and safe space for you to share your experiences, find out what is important to you and try out new ideas and patterns of action.

Mum-me-time is a weekly 50 minutes class that offers you time to reflect what impact the experience of being a mother has for you as a person and how your own needs can be met. It has no pre-set agenda but will adapt to the priorities and interests of the group. It is however no parenting class! We will not talk about routines, weaning or potty training. This is your time! You should leave the class re-charged, with food for thought, new ideas and inspiration for a fulfilled and balanced life.

The classes are structured in a way that the children can stay with you, get your attention when needed and you can still get the most out of the sessions. This is not a crèche but a space to share with your children. A play area and pushchair space is available in the same room. Methods adapted from experiential learning, outdoor education and those used for participatory decision making enable you to learn while looking after your children. In addition you will receive a folder with the full documentation of the course.

This class can potentially cover all aspects that will help you to

  • live a fulfilled life
  • find time for yourself
  • enjoy being a parent
  • be confident at home and at work
  • find a work-life balance that works for you
